Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

I stayed here for a three day weekend. The outside as well as the inside is very well kept the grounds are very nice and the staff keeps the inside of the hotel very clean. The check-in process was smooth and check out was very easy the staff is very very friendly and the place is quiet. Every staff member I encountered from the front desk to the ones that serve the breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful. I stayed in the studio Suite. The room was very clean and spacious had all the amenities I needed from Iron to cooking utensils etc. I only have one complaint about the room and that is the way the shower is designed. Why would it be a shower with only one glass door that leaves room for a draft to come in while you're taking a shower. Some people may like it but I found it very uncomfortable but if you don't mind having all your back out and a draft coming in while you're taking a shower then you should be fine. Outside of that it's plenty of parking and in a nice location I definitely would recommend.

We stayed here for two nights waiting for our cruise. There's a fantastic steakhouse down the street that you can walk to called Tropical Acres Steakhouse. Fantastic food! Worth a visit for sure.

We stayed two nights recently before a cruise and the hotel is wonderful. Very clean! Friendly staff. Conveniently located. The bed was very comfortable!! We had a king suite and the room was fantastic. The only thing I wished for was 24 hour coffee in the lobby or at least during the day. After breakfast (which I didn't eat so can't comment on) there is no coffee available in the lobby. Other than that, great hotel!

We stayed there after our flight was canceled for a couple hours, it was fantasticly cleaned, and comfortable suite with a tiny kitchen that does everything you need. Highly recommended

So convenient to stay in and have dinner here after a long trip and not having to go out. This was important to me. The room is nice and clean. I would definitely come.back when in the area.

The residence was great. They arranged a shuttle to pick us up at the airport and had rooms ready for us when we arrived. The rooms were in good condition and appeared clean and taken care of. They are fully furnished and comfortable for a short stay and I would imagine an extended stay. The staff were all very professional and polite. I had a great stay and would book wirh them again any time.

My wife and I stayed here for one night before our cruise. Breakfast was included, which was ok. The room was large with a complete kitchen, which we really didn’t use. There were no restaurants nearby, without getting a taxi. The hotel did a very limited food service, with no proper bar. We only found out the next day that there was a supermarket nearby, which we could have used to get food to prepare in our room.

Staff behind the desk were very friendly and the young man gave us a couple of snacks and keys to a spacious room with a kitchen. The room was spotless. Noticed that a lightbulb was burnt out and the shower fixture was cracked & loose, but not big deals. The pool area was quite nice. The free breakfast surpassed expectations with its selections and quality. Will use this hotel in the future.
